Your Role

Our Inside Sales Managers are responsible for building, training, and growing a high-performing sales team. Your team will be comprised of sales development representatives, who qualify leads for our account executives, as well as account managers, who qualify, close, and renew their book of business. Your current team says that you motivate them to be better and that you’ve taken the time to know them and aid in their success. They would also say that you are able to remove obstacles, lead without micromanaging, and have coached them on new techniques.

You understand why metrics are important to success and your team understands how the numbers lead them to be more successful. Your team understands the correlation between metrics and success because of your guidance and they strive to hit their goals. You’re focused on success through KPIs and have a proven sales strategy that you can immediately implement. You’ve worked in a small to mid-sized company before and you can handle the responsibility that comes from being free from bureaucracy.   

Your Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, motivate and hold accountable SDRs and AMs,  and support them in achieving - exceeding their targets.
  • Use available data and metrics to make informed decisions and uncover potential missed opportunities
  • Drive pipeline with the sales development reps to exceed new business opportunity quotas
  • Manage incentive plans to foster a competitive, fun and collaborative team environment
  • Coach account managers to over perform on new business and renewal quotas
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure that all leads are treated as the gold they are - efficiently capitalizing on all opportunities
  • Collaborate with other sales teams and departments to create a unified message and customer experience
  • Document all processes, iterate and improve on them as necessary
  • Perform Sales Operational projects as assigned, that may go beyond SecurityIQ

Your Qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ leading a successful team (5+ people) in a fast-paced, high activity/volume outbound selling environment
  • Solution and relationship-based sales experience in the tech industry
  • Able to use, configure, and generate reports in Salesforce
  • Knowledge of how to use metrics and data as a way to support effective sales behavior
  • Passion for delivering value to the customer, maximizing their success
  • Thrives with high levels of autonomy with the ability to make solid plans and execute them
  • Hardworking, dependable, proactive
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
